Frederick Washington Kuhn

Frederick Washington "Fred" Kuhn was born in Orlando, Fl. on November 2nd 1895. He registered for civilian draft 1917-1918 and served his country until he was discharged due to a heart condition. He enlisted September 19th, 1917 and discharged March 1st, 1918. He married Nellie 1923 when he was 28 years old. He was a Homesteader along with Lamar Kendrick his business partner. He was manager of W.P. Wallam Construction Company with his father-in-law Melvin. Fred was mechanic and was a friend of Barney O'field, the race car driver.

He died in Homestead Florida where he and his father-in-law built their house.
