Samuel E. Winger
Samuel E. Winger was born at President, Pa., 3 Dec 1850, to David and Katherine Winger. David Winger died when Samuel was only twelve years old. He attended Allegheny College and Drew Theological Seminary, in Crawford County and was licensed to preach in 1870.
1 Jan 1873, He married Eva F. Clyde, a daughter of Rev. James Clyde. They were the parents of nine children.
He preached at Trinity Church, Oil City and was a member of the Erie Conference. He moved to Helena, Montana, and continued preaching there.
Samuel E. Winger died 8 Feb 1912.
