Curtis J. Shull
Senior at Gnadenhutten, Ohio High School in 1909. Photo from the 1909 Goal yearbook of Gnadenhutten High School.
From the yearbook: "And "Shin," with brown eyes and hair is the only boy in the class. For three years he walked daily to and from his home west of Gnadenhutten. He has been sleepy at times and longed for other boys in his class but the times have changed and now since he studies Rhetoric his mind is always busy thinking of compositions. He almost always has his lessons and although he was not first in rank he was in raising of melons. Is very good at giving descriptions and can tell enough to fill volumes about a trip to Pittsburg, the most interesting being about the "dears" he saw at the zoo."
