Mary A. Tschudy
Senior at Gnadenhutten, Ohio High School in 1909. Photo from the 1909 Goal yearbook of Gnadenhutten High School.
From the yearbook: "Matsy" is a very industrious, brown-eyed girl. She is always "digging" at her lessons and has been second to no one in her recitations. Every morning and evening she takes a long walk for her health and even while eating her lunch at noon she reads a book. Is fond of music and is the High School organist but the class prophet says she will be a great elocutionist some day for she is a fine speaker and recently won a medal in a contest. She has a pretty soprano voice and sings in the church choir. As she likes children and lessons she will probably teach for a few years. She is a bright girl and a happy future is predicted by all.
