George M Henry
Mildred Lenore Henry Hewitt, my grandmother, was Lena and Mabel's younger sister, born in 1900. I remember Lena and Mabel visiting our farm in Virginia when I was a child. And I have picture of George and Margaret taken probably between 1910-1920.
Definitely a small world.

Mrs.Trent,
It would be wonderful if you would share that picture with me or the greater community at Familyoldphotos.com. I would like to see what my grandma's grandparents looked like.
Thanks! Deborah Goschy

My grandmother, Mabel Henry Corey, was George's daughter. One of Mabel's daughters, Jessie Dorothy Corey, was my mother. She married my dad, Wayne Philip Brotzman, in Ewington, Minnesota, on November 1, 1942. She had been sent to live with John and Althea Mace as a foster child. The family was broken up after the untimely death of Mabel's first husband, Donald David Corey. Thank you for sharing this picture.
Hello, cousin!
Dear Mr Brotzman, it's great to find some other people from the Henry lineage out there, specifically from the lineage of George Henry. I have been doing quite a bit of family research lately as I am working on an application to the Daughters of the American Revolution.
My great grandmother, Lena Ruth Henry, was a daughter of George M Henry and Margaret Haag. She was born in 1890 in Bloom Twp in Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, making her an older sister of your grandmother. By 1902, the family had relocated to Wisconsin, the story being that they were looking for teaching jobs. George stayed in Wisconsin for 10 years before moving to Virginia, but Lena married Joseph Bilderback in Wisconsin in approximately 1910. That union produced several daughters, including my grandmother, Frances Bilderback. They also had one son. In 1937 she married Hubert Fedie of Lima, Wisconsin. My father is their son, Arthur Fedie, who was born in 1942. In 1964, Arthur married my mom, Mary Beth Lund of Durand, Wisconsin. My brother, Todd, was born in 1966. I (Deborah (Fedie) Goschy) was born in 1967, and my sister, Lisa, was born in 1971.
