He served in the military, worked a Farmer, and was a musician. He married Isabelle Craig on 19 Mar 1866 in Beaver Co., PA. She was the daughter of James Craig and Margaret Crooks, born 5 Nov 1845, in Beaver Co., and died 6 Nov 1932 in Aliquipa, Beaver Co., PA.
