Ida and Enoch Beam's Home Back Porch

Enoch Francis Beam married Ida Jeffries. The Jeffries'/ Jefferis' trace back to Nicholas Chandler, 1540-1604, Oare, Willcott, Wiltshire, England. Descendants of Ida and Enoch married into the Davis family of Crawford County, descendants of Samuel Davis, 1669-1758, who migrated from Ireland to Bucks County, PA.

A son, William Paul Beam, 1882-1954 married Margaret G. Ross, 1899-1993.

Ida and Enoch Beam's home pictured here in Speers, PA, is now the Side Door Restaurant. Some remodeling was done after these pictures were taken.
