Hi my name is Karen and on

Hi my name is Karen and on The school picture from helvetia I think my mom is in there it looks just like her Olga dienes.

I was wondering if you had any information on the Stanchios family. My mother's father was Cashmier's brother, Joseph Stanchus. They have spelled their last name a few different ways I noticed. Stanchus, Stanek, Stansus, and now Stanchios. My great grand father was August Stanchus or his nick name was Jake. I can't find anything on August Stanchus their father. All I know is he worked in the mines in Helvetia and he immigrated here in the 1900s. If you have any information on the family it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jennifer Crabtree

My father's family came from Helvatia, PA. He was Michael Charles Yamrick. His mother's name was Margaret. They moved to Euclid, ohio back then. If you have more information or if we could possibly provide more information, please let us know.

Terry Yamrick

Hi. I know that there are some Yamricks still in the Sykesville area. I would suspect that they are related to you. What information are you looking for? Do you have any pictures of Helvetia?

Helvetia, Pa

I ran across a post card from Helvetia, pa from 1911. It is signed "Ashleys" and is addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Chas Torbrush, Walston, Jefferson, PA (?) It just has a picture of a flower on the front and says, "greetings from Helvetia, PA" . If anyone is interested in it, I'll mail it to ya. I love old stuff.

If you don't want the post card I would love to have it!
